Constant Headaches HELP

I've been having headaches everyday for the past few weeks. I am currently 14 weeks, I had the same problem earlier on in the second trimester and now it's back. Taking excedrin tension headache (tylenol and caffine) seemed to work then, but now if it helps at all they just come right back. My doctor prescribed me Midrin, which helps, but not for very long and I don't want to take it often. Usually I have pain across my forehead and up the back of my neck. Laying or sitting a certain way seems to lessen the pain or make it worse. I've also tried well patch cooling gel pads, and although they are sort of soothing, they don't really do much. I'm just getting so frusterated because I can't get them to go away and stay away, not even for a ful day.

Hey Kay! I am sorry hun that you are going through that. Are you making sure to drink plenty of water? I know that I will get headaches if I dont drink enough. I hope you feel better soon!

:( I drink lots and lots of water. It's like I know all the normal advice to give myself, it just isn't working.

I get the same thing and I had them with my last pregnancy too. I think it's just from hormones so there's not much we can do about them. I take 2 extra strength tylenols if it gets too bad, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The other day mine got so bad that I had to call my husband to come home and take care of our daughter. When he got home he had to carry me from the couch to the bed because it hurt so much to walk. I slept for a couple hours and when I woke up it was pretty much gone. Anyway, I don't have any advice but I know how you feel :o( I'm 15 weeks by the way.
