Hi Christine and Kayla, My EDD is 4th Dec with my first! How are you both feeling? I've been absolutely fine throughout the whole pregnancy so far - I was beginning to doubt that I was actually pregnant because it had been so easy, but I heard the heartbeat this morning for the first time so I guess it's real!!

Well I was going to start a Dec. thread but glad to see there is one now.....I am 15 weeks and my EDD is Dec. 5th....my next u/s is on June 27th maybe I can find out what I am having....haha...crossing my fingers....how is everyones headaches doing....mine seem to be getting a little bit better....

Kate - how lucky are you that you weren't sick. I on the other hand had the wonderful all day sickness. I don't recall how it was with my first but I don't remember it being like that!! My hairdresser told me last night that she thinks we block out all of the bad stuff that happened during earlier pregnancies so we'll have babies again!! Don't know but it sounds right.

Nikki - June 16

yeah it does cause I don't remember all these aches and pains with my other two....I thought it was cause it was my third and I was older I am only 27 so it can't be the age...haha...

Nikki, to answer your question, I'm now starting to feel fine, I suffered from nausea, fatigue, seasonal allergies and BAD headaches (which I still get) but are more tolerable... I rented one of those dopplers ($20/month) so I heard the heartbeat on my own too, it's amazing. My next appt is July 11, I'm hoping to soon find out what i'm having too! Do you have any preferences? Keep us posted..

Christine - June 16

Where did you rent your doppler from??? Thanks

Kayla - June 16

I shopped around a lot and this was the cheapest i found ($23 to be exact) they give free shipping to you and back to them when you're done. Fetal Bond is the brand, check them out at www.fetalbond.com I didn't get the digital because my sister said the difference between them is minimal.

Hi gals! Glad to see a December thread. As far as morning sickness went, I only had about two weeks of nausea and then felt better. I've been feeling great since (except being tired). My EDD is Dec. 10th and it's my first. Physically I'm feeling great, except that I'm beginning to feel a little like a hermit. None of my friends around here are married, let alone pregnant.. so it's kinda hard to relate. Two nights ago I went out with some friends to an outdoor theater. Those places always show two movies in a row and I fell asleep! I feel like such a party pooper these days. Anyone else feel like this?

Christine - June 16

Kayla - Thanks for the dopler info!! Ca__sie, I know when I was preg. with my frist it was very difficult as only a few of my friends had children and it was very hard on me because everyone wanted to go out to bars and hang out late (obviously that wasn't my thing at the time). But now with my 2nd it doesn't bother me to much. My 2 year old keeps me busy and a few more of my friends now have children so they know what it's like. But don't feel like a party pooper - it's only natural to miss something you can't do any longer!

My EDD is December 7. This is my 2nd pregnancy and has been much easier than my first was, thank goodness. Good luck to you all!!

Hi ladies - I'm 14 wks 5 d, due Dec. 9. This is my first and I'm 38. I'm a great big worrier. I bought "What to Expect" for me and a book called "The Expectant Father" for hubby. I've had no morning sickness at all, but I've been tired! That's been getting better the past few weeks. At 12 weeks, the dr did an ultrasound and we saw an actual little tiny baby in there! Hubby wants to be really involved and go to appointments, and I'm glad for that. I have a level 2 ultrasound scheduled for the end of July, and we should find out the s_x!

Marivic - June 16

Hi ladies - I'm 15 weeks, due 12.08.05. My girls (17, 15, twin 14 y/o's) are older so it feels like I've forgotten everything I ever knew about being pregnant (plus I'm older now, 33, that has to be it...). I had HORRIBLE m/s weeks 6-11, and it's eased up recently. If I don't remember to keep drinking (water, juice, whatever) I get really bad headaches, and I'm sleeping like a madwoman lately - 9 hrs, plus a nap everyday! I work at home though so that helps. I've had 3 u/s (due to spotting, everything's fine) and 2 prenatal appointments, have seen/heard the heartbeat since 6 weeks, with another u/s in July (we don't want to know the s_x, after 4 girls it really doesn't matter, although a boy would be fun!). I don't know about you gals, but I had 2 recent m/c (12/04 and 01/05) and it feels really good to be solidly in the second trimester. I'm starting to feel little "thuds" and general (not specific) tummy action - anyone else feeling their babies yet?

Ca__sie - June 16

Marivic, I keep telling myself it's too early to feel movement (especially this being my first) but I'm almost convinced that is what it is now. Maybe the baby is just in a position for me to feel it easily... I don't know. My doctor didn't think it was impossible when I said I thought I felt it. I've been feeling flutters off and on and then last Sunday I felt the strongest movement yet. If it's not the baby, then I don't know what it is! :-) (I'm 14w4d right now)

TCM - June 16

Hi all. I am due on December 20 with my first. Like Ca__sie just had 2 weeks of nausea and then only tiredness (and some dizziness). Feel a million times better this week though - energy back and I can get stuff done again!

Sarah - June 16

My EDD is 12/14/05 or more/less. I am very excited. I had very bad headaches for two days in a row, and today I dont have one at all. I am very happy about that! I have had it pretty easy so far, but headahces and my legs cramp a lot. Some times in the mornings I dont want to eat anything, but I make myself. I think I am starting to feel some movement, but im not sure! I hope it is! ...I have not had an ultrasound done yet, but am going to get one near the end of this month! Yay, I cannot wait!
