I'm 16 and 1/2 weeks PG and for about the last week I've been dizzy and blacking out. Mostly it's right when I get up in the morning or right before I lay down at night. Any help?

you need to call your doctor... because i had this problem... and she said that it can be dangerous if you are actually pa__sing out because you can get hurt... you really should call your doctor.. but they suggested to me to make sure you are eating enough protein, like eggs and meats... but also calcium is really important.. .try to stay away from sugar because it will make you weak and your body will respond this way.. good luck.. i hope all goes well!

Thank you for your help. The thing about the sugar though, I crave things like that. Sugar and lots of fruit.

natural sugars like fruits a great.. but they said stay away from things with alot of sugar like doughnuts and stuff like that...

Yeah, they told me that as well. Which is good because I hate doughnuts. I go see my doctor in 3 weeks so I'll give him a call. My mom said it's nothing to worry about. I'm naturally anemic so she just thinks that the baby is having a hard affect on me.

OHHH yeah if you are anemic then that would be why.. because i'm not.. but they had to test me for that when they found out because it will cause it to happen... i'm sure its nothing to worry about.. but its good for your doc. to know! good luck

I was talking to someone just yesterday who said that during her pregnancy she was pa__sing out starting at week 24 until they figured out she had low iron. It went on for her until about week 30 until they figured it out. She pa__sed out at the grocery store, Old Navy, everywhere! I believe that they had her take a supplement and told her to make sure to eat lots of red meats.

I fainted at the store when i was 16 weeks, spent a few hours in hospital on an iv, my iron levels were low and my blood pressure was very low, keep up your iron supplements and stay hydrated..
