What day did you conceive your boy or girl prior to ovulation??

I conceived my boy the day before OR the day of ovulation. I heard that the further out from O day you will get a girl but I am not sure how all that works!! Good luck!

I heard the same thing as frances....this is because female sperm swim slower than male sperm...Male sperm also die faster than female sperm

hi all. well i conceived the day of o and guess what, a girl! lol. we were hoping for a boy, but will love our little chloe just as much. at least we're pretty sure she is a girl. she didn't want to show us. first time she looked her legs were closed the second time she was wiggling a lot, and she said she didnt see anything dangling, and the third time right before she was done, she checked and she had her legs closed again! so i think i am the exception to the rule of the o day. lol

Thanks for the inputs! I am curious if the Shettles method is acurate to determine whether I will be having a boy or girl. The method you guys are talking about. I personaly think I am having a boy but I want a girl. It sounds though that the method isn't all that acurate. Still about 50/50. I don't know??

Kristen, my friend is ttc her 2nd one and she is looking at the Shettles method too. She is wanting a girl. I don't know how all that works. Good luck and keep us updated!! Cnasmom, when are you due? Are you going to get another u/s before s/he gets here. We think my husbands cousin is having a girl cause s/he would not show her/his self either! My little man was letting it all hang out! LOL Let us know if you get an answer!
