I was 20 weeks on Saturday and I finally started to feel the baby moving that morning! I was so disappointed that I hadn't felt him sooner since the books all say 17 weeks. But I can feel him strongly now and it's awesome! And when you do feel your baby - don't worry, you'll know that's what it is!

Can you describe the feeling the best you know how?

I felt mine move for the first time 2 days ago, on Saturday. For me, it wasn't really a flutter more a faint & quick ripple sensation. it happened three times before I was sure it was my baby. It doesn't happen consistently yet, and today it's happened a couple of times. It's starting to become more of a wiggle for me :-) I was 22wks before it happened.

i started to feel my baby move around 22 weeks...it almost felt like one of those twitchy muscle spasms...ever since then, it has been getting harder and harder!

Mine also felt like a little ripple, like someone was running a finger along the inside of your stomach or someone tapping really light. Some of the kicks are getting pretty strong, but they aren't strong everytime. Although today I was laying real still on my back and my husband had his hand on my stomach b/c the dr. said he should be able to feel it some and BAM...it kicked hard enough that u could see it a little and he definetly felt it! It took me a while to figure out it was baby and not gas :) so don't worry, you'll know!

I started feeling something like waves occasionally at 18.5 weeks. Now at 20 I felt her move all day. Dh still can't feel it yet.
