Extremely Sensitive

Hi girls... so far everything has been going great with the pregnancy, I'm 26 weeks, this weekend I just found out it's a beautiful girl, and I'm so happy about that, she's very healthy. But last night something happened to me. See, the doctor doubled my dose of iron while I get the results from the lab, so now I'm gonna need to take one pill every 12 hours. So there I was, last night at 10 pm, and ralized I had completely forgotten to take the pill in the morning. In a matter of 2 seconds, I burst into tears and couldn't stop for about 20 minutes, I felt so guilty because it was like I'm not caring enough for my little princess. I know it's something small but it really affected me, and through the pregnancy I haven't been very emotional. Thanks for letting me vent.

smiles*- Sonia, I completely understand... I have been completely emotional. I had some burnt cookies that made me cry. I was thinking "How could I burn cookies??? What will my child eat when I have too cook for it?"... Horomones...lovely, huh?

Sonia - if it's any consulation... the iron is probably for you - not the baby. Your princess doesn't need the extra iron - you need it so that you can build up your iron reserves and not go anemic when you deliver and lose a lot of blood. I hope that helps calm your nerves some!

when i was in my 1st and 2nd trimester, i wasn't as sensitive as I am in my 3rd...so, be ready! I cry over any and everything! i feel crazy sometimes because I will get mad at my DH for something dumb and then literally 2 seconds later i will feel bad and wonder why i did that and then i'll cry 'cause i feel bad that i did that to him. it's a mess! :S
