I am 5 months pregnant and a week ago i started to feel soft kicks. Today i almost didnt feel them at all and was wondering if something is wrong.

I'm six months now and the exact same thing happened to me. I even had an appointment and heard the heartbeat again, but I was really worried because I wasn't feeling anything. But maybe a week or a week and a half later the baby started moving EVERY-time I would sit or lay down. I can't get any sleep and now I feel movement even when standing or walking around some. I'm sure everything is fine for you too. It seems like my bladder has become a punching bag when I lay down at night!! Hee hee! It is rea__suring though!!

I am 19w4d and about a week ago I would feel soft kicks too, especially when I was sitting down at night. And then....nothing for a couple of days. And I was freaking out about it. Then, last night, a couple. I've read that at this stage the movements aren't consistent and not to worry even if they aren't felt everyday. I know exactly what you are feeling and I'm sure that there are a bunch of us panicking about it all of the time.

you shouldn't expect to feel regular everyday movements until you are at least 24 weeks...up until then, it is normal to go days without feeling any movement.

Don't worry. Its normal. I felt that too around 20 and 22 weeks preggo. Its normal for them to have says were they basically sleep all day- esp this early. You don't have to worry about feeling regular movements until like 25-28 weeks. Everyone I talk too says that their babies too are really active for a day or 2 and then super quiet for a day or too. If you are really worried drink a coke or something similiar- it usually wakes them up!!!

im 24 weeks and 3 days and since about 16 weeks i can say i started to notice what your describing. Some days the baby kicks so hard you can see it and the baby will do it for 10-15 minutes. than other days it barely moves and his kicks and punches arent as noticeable. Its almost like he tired himself out one day and needs to rest the next lol.
