Hi Kim, When I found out I was pregnant I was sick with a chest/sinus infection and was bringing up blood but at that time I was a week late for my period and before I took some home cough medicine I decided to check to see if I was pregnant first and I'm glad I did. I went to a walk in clinic and the doctor on call said that I definitely needed an antibiotic but because he wasn't my regular family doctor he wouldn't prescribe anything. When I did get into my own doctor she gave me Eurethromycin to clear up the infection but I would say that if you never threw up then it shouldn't effect the baby. But I would try to get some extra fluids in to get rehydrated if you had the diahroea but I also would say if you get worse to get in to see your doctor. Hope this helps a little.
