Hi Cj, what problems exactly are you having? Can you describe what you are feeling? Many of us may not know if we are experiencing the same thing since we don't really know what you feel....Please give more info..

Sorry about that I jus thought anyone who had it would already know...it starts shortly after I eat and it feels like someone is sticking a knife in my back underneath my right shoulder blade...then it feels like a burning sensation in the front right upper abdomen, basically directly under my right b___st. It lasts anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours or more...I went to the Dr. yesterday and they said I definetly have gallstones just from the exam and how I reacted and now I had a sono today and that will determine if I need surgery or not...has anyone had or know anyone who has needed surgery during their pg???

Hey CJ, when i had my first child i was having gallblatter pains too, i found out that i had several large galstones. But because i was pregnant the doc wouldnt let the hospital take care of it until after i had my daughter. they probably wont make you either. If the pain goes away after you have the baby it could just be that the baby is pushing your galblatter up to high. In my case i had to have mine removed. Its really not so bad. 4 tiny incisions no bigger than an inch. Now im pain free. If your worried about it Talk to your doctor. Find out if taking half a asprin would help until after the baby is born... Good luck.
