I just have a quick question I am 20 wks pregnant and I had an ultrasound and they said the baby was breech so they couldn't find out the s_x....they did say it would turn though...could that be why I haven't felt the baby move?

I didnt feel movement until about 22 weeks... I wouldnt worry.... if this is your first baby there is no surprise you havent felt it... not to mention... your baby could be more active when you are active... then you probably wouldnt feel it yet.

Worried - November 22

Thank you both...it is my first baby, and it might be that I can't detect the movement everyone says it feels like something different. I have felt a little like spasm in my tummy but I am not sure if that is the baby or not.....

Worried - November 22

Oh Amy were you able to tell the s_x of your baby when it was breech?

ry - November 22

worried, if you felt spasms in your stomach it probably was the baby. i am 20 weeks and that is a lot what it feels like and its not very consistant yet. Good luck!

At my 20 week scan, she was sitting head up (breech) and the tech said that she was sitting indian-style. He was able to move underneath of her to find the s_x and we saw it--plain as day that she is a girl.

at 20 weeks the baby is all different positions as it still has room to roam so breach isnt anything to worry at this stage as its just moving around and today it may be down wards if you had another one My u/s baby is always in differnt positions Doc says all is good and normal with it baby is having fun

Hi Worried, I think worried will probably describe most of us expectant mothers. Its probably unlikely not to be worried. Anyhow, my little girl was breech at my 20 and 22 week scan. They couldn't get everything they needed at the 20 week because she was in a fetal position and wouldn't move. At the 22 week, the tech had trouble getting everything she needed including the s_x (which I wanted). She gave me a lollipop and had me walk around. Sure enough, I can back and the baby was moving like crazy (I had been worried cuz I hadn't felt her in a few days) I've been feeling my little girl since about 17 weeks on a steady basis. I think we are all different. My doctors swore I couldn't feel her that early but I did! My doctor also was the one to tell me she is breech. He said it isn't a problem at this stage and she has plenty of time to move and probably will. Good luck!

Worried, this is my first and I didn't really feel him move until about 22 weeks. I'm 25 weeks & feel him all the time now. Good luck!
