i went for my glucose tolerance test today, and my results are kind of funny. they say 132 for a 50g glucose test. and when i read on what normal results should be.. it said they had to be below 140.. which it is. but my results are marked as "high".. so i dont know if that means i have gestational diabetes, or not. anyone know anything about this? the first time i did it, i had a 115.. and it was marked as normal. so.. i dont know what to think. im all nervous and worked up about it.. but my doctor appt isn't until next wednesday.. and my doctor's office doesnt give a direct line. so i have to wait, but im pretty much freaking out. anyways.. any info on this would be great! belly rubs!

You cant get ahold of your doctor's nurse via phone? Some one should be available on the phone to answer your questions. You shouldnt be given results w/out an explanation. Call the main number and say you would like to speak w/the nurse. If its like my ob, you will have to hold along time...fold socks or something while you wait! LOL. Get some answers!! Good Luck!

Id say your fine, I was also 112 on my first reading which was when i was 22 weeks. and the doc wants me to do another one when im 28 weeks, just to make sure it doesnt go higher. Your probably marked at "high" because its close to 140, they may have you do another one in a few weeks. But if your doc isnt worried dont stress, they know what their doing, they deal with this kind of stuff all day.
