This pregnancy is the strangest ever ! I am having every symptom in the book ! Crazy bad heartburn and migraines have just decided that they would come together to celebrate my 20th week ;D , I have heartburn remedies that seem to be working but i haven't a clue what to do about these headaches , they aren't that debilitating but they just last so long that i feel like crying , especially since i can't lie down , i still have to run around after my four and one year old . They don't seem to understand that loud noises make mummy hurt . Can anybody out there offer any advice or remedies that have worked for them ?

I had migraines start at around 31wks or so. I never had them pre-pregnancy so it came as a surprise. I got them every night for a few weeks (until about 34wks) I couldn't sleep and often would end up crying because I had a lack of sleep and the pain was unbearable. My whole left side of my face was effected. But they just stopped suddenly..as quickly as they had started actually. While I was getting them my doc suggested I take two Tylenol and put all the lights off in the house. I also found walking and meditating helped them subside a bit. My doc told me to stay away from coffee, chocolate and bananas because they are known to trigger migraines. Also, migraines in pregnancy are caused by the increase in maternal blood flow, dehydration and too much sugar in your diet.
