How Does The Baby Come Out What Do I Tell My Son

I'm 22 weeks along now...with kids at home that just turned 2 and 4. My two year old is oblivious, but my son (a very intelligent and articulate 4 year old) has lots of questions. I've already tried explaining that when the baby is ready to come out, we go to the doctor and the doctor helps the baby come out, but that just triggered more questions and now he has decided he wants to watch (which he definately won't be doing). Any suggestions on how to explain the process to young kids?

lol i think this is a good question...my 4 year old cousin asks millions of questions about that and for a while i had her settled with the answer that the baby comes out of my belly b___ton (lol) anyways i was watching special delivery one day and i wasnt aware that she was watching it too...she just blurted out "Uh uh Shala the baby comes out of your legs" lol i was like...Uhhhhh. So this is a good ??? i think :-) GL w/ an answer lol :-)

docmom - my 4 year old was in the delivery room when we had our second son - he was up by my head and he thought it was so cool - I think so long as they know that a baby is a result of great love they will kind of get it but good luck!
