How Interesting

I haven't had any m/s or food cravings, smell sensitivities, etc.. Just normal as always but when I was around 8-10 weeks I was eating like a horse. I mean I could eat a full meal, get full and an hour or 2 later i'd be going thru the cabinets, opening the fridge and the freezer looking for something else and i'd do that every hour it seemed !! Then suddenly it stopped. I also noticed thats when I was having mild cramps due to uterus expanding I suppose. Then for about a week I stuffed my face with anything chocolate. Then it went away. Now here I am at 16 weeks and the mild cramps have appeared again and I noticed since the cramps started 3 days ago im constantly standing in the kitchen, going thru cabinets every hour it seems !! And im craving chocolate like a madwoman again ! I guess I can put 2 and 2 together and assume that when I get cramps the baby is growing demanding more nutrients and I eat healthy as possible. Then after that phase goes away my body is in sugar withdrawls so I chow down on the chocolate !! Fortunatley I haven't gained no weight in spite of my gluttony !!! Any other women got stories similar?

Maybe your baby is going through a growth spurt during these times. That would explain the cramps and your need for extra food!
