I just went to the hospital and got my rhogam shot because I am Rh negative. I was feeling a little funny by the time I got home, but I thought it was just because I had not ate lunch yet. Ate lunch and about an hour has passed and I still feel a little off. Just kind of dizzy and nothing specific, but just not that good. Anyone else have the shot and then feel wierd??? or, do you think it is just a mental thing because I got a big needle in my butt?

I've not had mine yet, but I was told by my midwife that they keep you in for a while after giving you the shot in case you come over all funny, so it can happen. Might be worth just ringing up and mentioning it to them.

Although it's been 14 yrs for me, when I got mine I think I got stuck in the wrong spot because the muscle in my but running down the back of my leg hurt for quite a while. So, now that I'm pregnant again, I am NOT looking forward to another one!

Most likely it's really all in your head. The nurse told me the chance of having a reaction is like a maximum of 11%. She told me to wait in the waiting room for 20 minutes because if any reaction would come, it would be within 20 minutes and not later. I felt fine so I left and all was well. I felt a little funny too though because that's a big needle!! Although it didn't hurt at all.
