Is This A Kick

I think I am feeling movement, I do feel some fluttering, but now I am starting to feel what feels like something pushing from the inside out, like pressure and then it goes away within a couple of seconds...is this a kick? I guess I expected it to be faster, but instead it feels like the baby is pushing and stretching etc.

Sounds to me like your baby might be rolling around in there! A kick feels more like a small muscle spasm or a jumpy nerve at first, eventually they are unmistakeable though!

Baby can push up against the outside for sure. I'm 22 weeks, & I distinctly remember a few weeks ago gently pushing on my tummy & realizing that I moved baby because he was right up against the wall there. Or he moved out of the way when I pushed? Whatever the case, it was definitely baby. Kicks do feel different than that. This early on, they will feel like tapping or light thumping.

Definately your baby. I felt fluttering for sure but was also questioning what was a kick. I kept feeling pushing on my bladder, insides, etc. but nothing I could feel from the outside. Finally (24-26 weeks) I now feel her kicking and it is more clear and can be felt from the outside. Yours is still early so I am confident she is kicking/moving inside and now is big enough that it is felt as a type of pressure. Enjoy. I'm sure when they start kicking our ribs we will look back to these more pleasant movements. :-)
