I would like your opinions on whether or not I'm being too sensitive. Lately I find that my partner is noticing other women more. He makes comments on their earings, what they wear, and I can see him checking them out visually. This makes me more upset casue just recently the doctor told me I have gained a little more weight than I should have with my pregnancy so I am trying to exercise more and eat better.I think I am beautiful with this pregnancy, but he seems to be concentrating more on other women now than me...I wish he would see me how I feel inside...Do I just ignore his behaviour? I 've confronted him and he said that he doesn't mean anything by it, or he wasn't doing it. So it's an issue that goes no where. But I can't help but think about and and feel sad. I sometimes wonder what other men do? What about yours?

Next time tell him he'll have a hard time checking out other women through two black eyes. LOL!!!! I told my fiance that once as a joke. We got a good laugh out of it. Just start eyeing up men and maybe he'll quit. Once he made the mistake and commented that I should have my hair done like this lady he saw and I said if he liked her hair so much he could go live with her! That stopped that real quick. Ha ha! I don't let him know it makes me jealous. I have the take it or leave it att_tude. If I'm not good enough for you, there's the door :) Harsh, but I don't like headgames.

lol, heidi... you're a cla__sic. pat... sorry you are going through these feelings. i can imagine it would make you feel totally c___p when your man is checking out other women and you're not feeling like the s_xiest woman on the planet. my partner sometimes looks at other women (he's a bloke, and that's what most blokes do, let's face it) but he is always telling me i'm gorgeous and that he luuurves my new pregnant curves. we are closer than ever since we found out we are expecting our first bub. i don't ever worry when he looks at other women. he once said to me, "what does it matter that a guy looks at the menu to get his appet_te, as long as he comes home to eat" tee hee. and i guess it's true.... men are visual creatures and they work differently from women. i guess i'm asking why it worries you so? if your man is not making you feel loved and cherished, then maybe you need to tell him so (rather than confronting him about the perving.... most men go into defense mode when they think they're under attack so you're not likely to get very far with that approach). in my experience, most men with good hearts and love for their partner feel just awful if they know that they are causing their woman to feel worthless (men have egos and want to be THE ONE to make their woman glow :o). let him know that you want to feel like a s_x goddess again.... i'm sure his ego will rise to the occasion, lol. and don't forget, your hormones may be going mad too, making you a bit insecure and feeling the need for more rea__surance than ever. it's a time of huge change for all us ladies. pat - i'm sure you ARE beautiful with this pregnancy. and if he can't see that, then get heidi to come over and give him two black eyes, lol. take care.

You ladies are great. I loved your feedback. And Heidi your's was a real treat that made me laugh...Black eyes eh? Ha Ha...I want to lighten up a bit, and I will try d__n hard to...I've got a bit of insecurities and jealousy inside me...what do they call that the green eyed monster? Anyway, I have to be more confident in myself. Do more for myself I guess. I realize I can't rely on my partner to make me feel beautiful cause sometimes he just isn't going to do so. I have to go out there and do what I can do to feel beautiful...and if he's looking the other way...so be it...I will be bigger than that and say he does'nt know what he's got...what a pea brain...lol :) ha ha...

that's the spirit pat :o) and you're definitely on the right track with eating right and exercising more. apart from the benefits to you and your bub, exercising realeases all sorts of feel-good hormones and reduces stress too so it's bound to help. you'll be glowing with inner self-confidence before you know it. all those blokes that beth mentioned will be checking YOU out. good luck :o) xxx
