Stef - where are you ? This thread is 3 hours ahead of me so I have no idea what time everyone logs on. I am so relieved that you can stop with the specialist! That is so awesome. My parents took our boys for the night last night and we got up at 7am too early but hey what the heck is sleeping in anyway - might as well get used to it. I threatened my hubby with buying a snoogle and he jumped up and got my body pillow out of the garage - I have only been asking for it for weeks now.....lol Money talks! He hates for me to buy what he perceives to be duplicate or unnecessary - but I have my body pillow now and slept great! I will talk to you soon.

Hey! I'm in Missouri so it is now 11:15am here (the posts on this site show an hour ahead of my time so I think this is set on eastern time (i'm central). I am thinking about getting a snoogle, but for now may just try a body pillow. I'm hoping to go out and get one today. The weather here is sooooo nice (in 60s) today which is crazy because it was in the 20s earlier this week.

We are in the High Desert so we don't have typical California weather - we've been in the high 40 's during the day and below 30 at night - plus the wind b__ws like crazy - I am pacific time - I have lunch date at Olive Garden I can't wait I am getting nice and hungry. Oh and I have not gained any weight which is a relief for me since I weigh now what I did at the end of my last pregnancy if that puts it into perspective - my doctor is very proud of me for making good food choices

hi ladies! I've been MIA for a while! not really in the second trimester yet, but I will be as of thursday. and i'm sooooo happy! i feel so much better and never really feel sick anymore. feel pretty fat though! right now I have a rubber hair band holding my jeans together. looped it through the b___tonhole to the b___ton...works really well if you wear a long shirt. definitely starting to show. how about y'all? i'm afraid we're going to have a really big bady. i'm 5'9" and my fiance is 6'3", and neiter one of us is skinny...very athletic. can;t wait to see on monday how big the kiddo is. any updates from y'all?

Hey Rebekah! time seems to be going faster now, which I like :) I am definitely showing now and even getting belly rubs! ha ha...I've had people ask me if this is my second when they find out how far along I am and I'm like nooooooo...lol. It is kind of surprising because I look like by best friend did at 20 weeks and I'm just over 14. I'm 5'6" and was about 125 pre pregnancy. I've gone up to about 136 now. My bf is 6' and about 250, mostly muscle. Hey, I did the hairband thing for quite a while and it worked pretty good until that started cutting into my lower abs so now I have some maternity jeans--Motherhood Maternity has some really cute ones! I almost ordered from Old Navy, but I'm sketchy about ordering online due to the high chance of them not fitting right when I get them. I'm soooo picky about jeans. They had some really cute worn looking ones, etc. I also noticed there are more maternity looking tops in the regular juniors and women's sections in department stores than there are in the maternity sections!

STEF - the old navy jeans that are mid rise or low rise are so nice but I did go to the store to try them on before I bought but now I can order online - Old navy has an awesome return policy and you get the return/exchange label when your order arrives it's great - I'd try it order a few different styles and decide which one you like then exchange the rest - seems like a pain but old navy is far from me so I'll be ordering online from now on.....I love online shopping. Going to the mall is so tiresome and the closest old navy is 1 hour away - Welcome Nola-gal - a few days is nothing come one over! lol

Having trouble sleeping...so I desided to get on here for a little bit! Glad you all are doing well!! I live in Arizona...so yea these times are a lil ahead of mine...oh well. Time is definatly going faster! I have picked out names....okay so tell me what you think. Girl- Brooklynn Nicole Boy-Damion Kaine I really like them...but would like your opinion on them =)...Well going to try and sleep again!

cors1wfe - January 6

I love both of your names - very original and you don't hear either of them very often anymore - awesome!

stefkay - January 6

I like them too! I've been looking at names as well and like more non-traditional ones too.

cors1wfe - January 6

Good morning STEF - do you guys have any names picked out? We like Megan Vaughn for a girl and Dalton James for a boy

hey there! just read in the expecting book that I have gained just the right amount of weight for the 1st tri...5lbs. that's a relief, because i felt like i gained too much. i'm not a small girl by any means...5'9" and 175 before I got pregnant, big b___bs, very curvy. so i was really worried about getting huge! but so far it's all in my tummy and b___bs. i need to go back to the gym though so i don;t get too flabby. as for the maternity jeans/ and pants, i'm going to have a hard time since i'm so tall. i have a hard time finding normal jeans that fit well. i definitely can't order online! does anyone know if any store carries maternity jeans and pants in tall sizes? i think maybe gap does. what i'm most in need of now is summer clothes that i can wear on my honeymoon in five weeks. we're going to st. thomas. i need some size 14 shorts and some flowy sundresses. all my summer clothes are size 10 or med/lg. anyone see any summer clothes out there yet in the stores? i do have 2 cute bathing suits that someone gave me. OH! AND YOU GUYS REALLY NEED TO CHECK OUT THIS! i met a woman yesterday with a 2-week old and a three year old in a toy store. she had the infant in a carrier called a"peanut shell". it was soo cool. and she said it was the only way she could function with her three year old and the baby. it looked soooo comfortable and kept her hands free. just google "peanut shell". i'm asking for about five of them! ok...going to my nephew's first birthday party. y'all have a great day!

nola-gal - January 6

oh, and my names are: girl...Evangeline Blair or Thalia (pronounced Thail-ya) Vaughn...depending on what her personality is when we meet her. Evangeline and Blair are family names...Eva will be the nickname. Thaila is a street in New Orleans and Vaughn's is the name of the jazz club where we met. boy...William Bellamy. My fiance's, father in law, and dad's name is William and Bellamy is a family name. We'll call him Liam for short, since Bill and Will are already taken. i really like all of yours too!

stefkay - January 6

I'll definitely look up the peanut shell! That sounds very cool! Cors, I have a list for both boys and girls, but my most likely pick for a girl is Ava. For a boy I'm still kind of stumped, but leaning toward Landon. Middle names are still being tossed around here :) Oh girls! I was out shopping today and spring stuff is coming out...I AM SO EXCITED! The dresses and shirts are sooooo cute. Even in junior's sections the dresses are empire waisted with ties in the back--perfect for bellies and will be sooooo comfy in the warmer weather. I am completely done with winter already and it is only January ;( Wish I lived in warmer temps!!!!

NOLA - if you aren't a germaphobe - try ebay for tall pg jeans - most ladies only wear certains sizes for less than 3 months so most of the clothes are like new and so reasonable - even with shipping you will pay a fraction of the price you would pay at a store for something new - I have found tons of cute like new items on ebay for pennies on the dollar and whatever I outgrow no biggie cuz it was so cheap! PLUS I don't have to hear my dh griping about what I have been spending on clothes because I am getting super deals. I will check out that peanut shell STEF - love your names - my crazy husband thinks he's going to name our son Jesse James -dream on I say - Dalton James is my favorite so far.

HeatherIsHopeful - January 6

lol corswife Im due in june but I read the part about your hubby wanting to name your son Jesse James and I laughed so hard.. My husband wants to name our son (if its a boy) Marcus Aurelius... after the Roman emperor. *shakes head* I dont think so. lol
