So today I spent the day sitting in the sun. It was HOT and I was definelty sweaing, but when I got up and went to the bathroom I noticedI was all wet down there, like I peed in my pants or something (sorry TMI). I didnt feel a gush or anything, it was just wet. I'm really scared that it is amniotic fluid. It doesnt really smell and the baby is kicking around like crazy. Anyone have some input or had this happen?

i would call your doctor....Why take a chance if was pee it would smell like urine (thats one thing your doc. will tell you to do if you call him) You can never be too safe

Whilst you may want to rea__sure yourself by contacting the dr, you can also be a__sured that wetness down there is v common during pregnancy, especially in the 2nd trimester. This is caused by sweat and also through excess discharge - which might not necessarily smell, In fact if it did smell, it would be more likely to be a sign of an infection. Hope this helps.

I would definitely call my doctor ASAP. Not that I'm suggesting your water broke, but the nurse who's teaching the childbirth cla__s I'm taking said when your membrane ruptures it doesn't always gush. If the fluid/leaking stopped, I'm sure you're fine. If it continued, even a little, you may wan to go in to have it checked out. The nurse told us if you weren't sure to put on a pad, go lie down for 15 minutes, and check the pad for moisture/leakage. If it's wet then it could be that your water broke. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks everyone for your input. I did lay down after i stopped making myself nervous and it did not happen again. I really do think it was sweat at it was very hot and humid here thee last few days. I am going to call my doc just to let her know, but I truly feel everything is ok.
