Lifting Things While Pregnant

I am unsure about what you can and can not lift while pregnant. I am having a normal, no complications pregnancy, so can I just keep lifting things that I did before or should there be some restrictions?

I am 25 weeks along with a normal pregnancy, and my doctor just put me on lifting restrictions--meaning I can't lift over 25 pounds. Even earlier though, I tried not to lift anything over 25 lbs--but if you were lifting 50lb boxes on a regular basis before I would imagine you'd be fine--just don't start lifting anything heavier than you were used to before. hope this helps:)

I am 17 wks and I have to lift my 2 year old all the time. I am sure it is okay, as long as you listen to your body and like Autumn said, lifting nothing heavier than you did before pregnancy.
