I don't eat them together but i do eat a bowl of ice cream and then when i am finished and placing my bowl in the sink i always grab a pickle. i am a pickle fanatic even if i eat chocolate cake. its sort of gross if you think about it. But you go from salty to sweet like that :)

Hannahbaby, I haven't had many cravings and I'm a health food junky for the better part. This morning after the farmer's market I stopped at a regular grocery store, bought white bread, mayonaise, and potato chips. When I got home, I made a sandwich on the bread with mayo, potato chips, cheddar cheese and lettuce. What made me think about it or even want it, I don't know. But it was, by far, the best thing I have ever eaten. So I would have to say I'm right there with ya when it comes to wacky!

Hey Hannahbaby. Yeah, the other day I was eating a bowl of chocolate ice cream and my dh made pop-corn. Well, the ice cream had melted and I just had this urge to mix the pop-corn in with the chocolatey slop. It tasted sooooo good, but my dh kept looking at me like I was crazy. Also, a turkey sandwhich with crushed potato chips, and a peanut-b___ter and pickle sandwhich (which is d__n good). Now I'm craving feta cheese, and I'm so sad because I'm not supposed to eat it.

oh yuck! I am so glad I really don't have any wild cravings. Just hearing the ones hear makes me cringe some. I just found that if I get hungry for something, I stay hungry for it until I get it. My fav food is pizza, and now I can't stand to really eat it. I hope it doesn't change too much, I don't like pickles anyway but I don't think I would be able to handle the cravings you guys eat, lol!

I eat yogurt with Pistachios mixed in it. And I also put pistachios in my cottage cheese. I don't think my cravings are weird, but my husband thinks they're gross. How is putting nuts in anything gross?

Again, I'm with you on that venus. I've never stuck too closely to all "the rules". I did with my first two pregnancies and both were miscarriages. This time I'm on the "everything in moderation" side of the fence and not only are me and baby doing great, but I feel much better all the way around. More energy, less cranky, and - of course - HUNGRY. :-)
