I'm 26wks 5d today and I had a dr apt where I only measured 24wks. Is that normal. Did this happen to anyone else and do you know why?

I measured 2 or 3 weeks behind with my second boy. The did a few ultrasounds to make sure he was growing ok, and he was. It was nothing to worry about--he was just a little guy (born 6 pounds, 6 oz). Bonus: got lots of great U/S pictures since my OB has a 3-d right in the office!

I actually started measuring ahead with my daughter at about 32 wks, so far nothing with this little boy, but I am only 24 wks. I'm not to worried though, baby is coming by c- section so he will be planned.

At my 18w appt my doc measured my fundal height at 14cm. She didn't say anything about it, but by checking on-line I found out that would be at least one week behind. However I had my u/s the next week and everything was fine - baby was the right size.

it is normal to measure ahead or behind by a week or two, sometimes even more. Sometimes it depends on how the baby is laying.

Its normal to measure off. I dont know why though. Im measuring 5 days ahead. I asked the doc if that was okay and she said that they normally dont look into it if its les than 10 days, But if you doc doesnt seem worried i wouldnt wory about it.
