Safefetus.com says it is a category C. It didn't have any info from human studies, only animal studies. Sometimes we have to take medicine, even during pregnancy, because the results of not taking the medication could be worse than avoiding it. I'm taking albuterol (asthma inhaler) and aldomet (blood pressure med.) which are both category c, but obviously they are necessary...if I die from not having medicine that won't help my baby. The same goes for you...if your doctor decides you need your medication, then it's important for your health and your baby's health to take it.

I have had to take Seroquel several times and my doctor says my baby is just fine and has seen other women take it and their babies came out okay.
