Hello. Do any of you still get menstrual cramps later on in pregnancy? I am 24 weeks and still get them once and a while.

Funny, I am 22 weeks and the couple of days I have had them on and off. I was a little concerned but was told this is very normal, I sure hope so. Good luck!

I sometimes do around the time I am supposed to get my period.

I get them every now and then. My doctor told me it was completely normal. She said it is caused from the stretching that uterus is doing. It sucks tho.

I also heard that these are mild contractions getting ready for the birth!

I get them all the time. Usualy a couple times a day. I ask my doctor every time I go to see him & he a__sures me that they are completely normal...

Hi, I'm 15 weeks pregnant and experience very light cramping on and off. I called my dr's office and the nurse practioner told me to reduce all activity, drink lots of water, and empty my bladder frequently. I thought this was just normal stretching of the uterus??? I think it is because I"m not having extreme pain or anything. Maybe she was just taking extra precaution. Can anyone else give me their advice on this? A lot of women have posted here that this is normal...

Thank you ladies. I feel better that it's not only me. I thought it was probably stretching too but it's nice to hear it from others as well.

I hadn't had any cramping since about 10wks, but I had some last week at 18wks. I also got bigger last week, so I think it was probably stretching, but it really freaked me out at first. Since I could still feel the baby kicking as strong as ever, I didn't worry too much.
