I just went to the Doc's and was told I have polyps on my cervix... I knew something was wrong because I started to bleed the other day and when me and My husband had s_x it burned like HELL afterwards, but I was to embarrassed to say anything to Doc so when he did the internal I felt the same burning and just blurted it out about the paingul s_x. So he said no more s_x and I can't have them removed because it can cause a miscarriage. They are painful! I was also told that they can just fall off on their own too! So I was wondering if any one has had any run ins like this and if you can please share your experiences?

Hello?

hi, i dont know anyting about them but i googled it and this i think was the best info i got, hope it helps.... A polyp is a small piece of tissue that is overgrowing inside the woman's v____a. Just as skin tags can appear on the skin during pregnancy (due to an increase in the woman's metabolism), so too can 'skin tags' grow in the v____al area. Polyps may start to bleed on their own, or some bleeding may be triggered through rubbing with s_xual intercourse. The caregiver may use a speculum to look inside the woman's v____a after the bleeding happens, discovering she has polyps. Polyps are not of any concern and they will usually reduce in size and/or disappear within a few months after the birth. Caregivers will generally only remove them during pregnancy if they bleed constantly, or are making you uncomfortable.
