Hi, I'm 16 weeks pregnant and had my first ultrasound, and the technicion saw that my placenta was over my cervix. She said not to worry because it's too early, and the placenta could move up some more. Has anyone else had similiar issue with this and came out successful....kinda worried.

well early in my pregnancy they found i have placenta previa (partial) i will be having a ultra sound in 2 weeks which will make me 20 weeks, my doctor said the same as your tech that my chances of the placenta moving up is really good so i will let you know what happens!

Shelley, please let me know what your dr says. I've been kinda worried about it lately, and reading up all the info. on the interenet doesn't help. I guess it's not that bad unless you have major bleeding or hemorraging, in that case you would be completely monitored by your dr. Good luck to you and I'll hear from you soon....

Hi, well i am 24 weeks now and i have grade 4 of placenta previa, but it had moved a tiny bit last ultrasound but my doc said the ultrasound i have coming up which is my 28 weeks will tell me weather its going to stay or move, so i say wait until your at least 28 weeks before worrying and just my 2 cents, i know its hard not to worry but all i think about is as long as my little one is health it does not matter how she comes out :)
