Hi, is anyone else suffering with pubic pain discomfort, i have spoken to my midwife and she said it is nothing to worry about, it is just the pelvic bones shifting ready for the birth (I am only 25 weeks). Sometimes though i am in agony and can barely walk, I was just wondering if ayone else is having the same problem and how they are coping with it. This is my 2nd pregnancy after suffering a miscarriage last year.

I am also 25 weeks but baby is measuring 27 and a half, anyways since about 20 weeks I fekt your pain. I can't even roll over in bed at night the pain is just so bad it feels like sometime my pubic bones are going to break in half. I have not talked to my Dr. about it yet but it is very painfull it is painfull to walk sometimes. so I know how you feel.

Hi Lindsey - February 28

I know this pain is awful, but it honestly does resolve once bubs is born. As a physio, we tell people they need to limit alot of the activites that aggravate it. Vacc_mming, mopping etc stairs are all culprits Also if you are walking for exercise try reducing speed/stride length/distance. If this doesnt reduce the pain, you usually need to cease walking and get into the pool instead. there are also support belts you can get from physio to help. Try to remember to keep your knees together getting in/out of car and bed too. Hope this helps. This is my third time suffering this, and this time it has started at 17 weeks, so I am full of dread!
