Quad Screening Birth Defects

I had my quad screening ultrasound/blood draw done at 11.5 weeks. Does anyone know when you're supposed to get the results from these tests? My next doctor's visit? If the results were sketchy would they notify me by phone? I'm thirteen weeks now and don't go back in until 16 weeks.

I had mine drawn at about 15wks...it took them 2 days to get back to me, but Im kinda high risk (42yo). If they did not call, I would a__sume that your test came back with a negative result...but if you have ANY ??? you should call and ask. They are there for you and your baby, dont hesitate to ask questions. Good Luck, Im sure all is well.

I work in a lab and the quad screen is a send out for us we do not do them in our lab. It takes 3 days for it to come back, but if any part of it is positive the lab calls us with the alert value. I had mine done and could just see my results, but they did not call me since everything was fine. I just got the results in the mail and then my next appointment she told me it was fine. I know when we do get the critical results the offices that we work with call there pts. If you don't mind me asking how old are you?

Magan... I too am 31 and I had mine done at my last appointment... I was 15 and a half weeks at the time and they told me one week to get the information back, and I was told that no call was good news. That if there was a problem, that they would call. I will go back next Monday (the 12th) for my next check up and my ultrasound.
