I'M FIVE MONTHS . I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT SHOUL I EXPECT WHEN I GO TO MY DR. VISITS. HE DOES NOT TAKE NOT EVEV 10 MINUTES WITH ME. HE ALSO DON'T MEASURE MY BELLY.

You don't need your belly measured. Mine hasn't been so far. I pee in a cup, listen to the heartbeat, and thats it. However, if your doctor doesn't bring it up and you'd like to do the quad test, you should ask about that. You should also ask when you'll be getting your ultrasound since its best to get it within a certain number of weeks.

Keep in mind every doctor is different ...my monthly visits consist of peeing in a cup, he does measure my belly but I am not sure why since I am only 15 weeks...we listen to the heartbeat they check my blood pressure and they weigh me....he does ask me if I have any concerns or questions I don't feel very rushed at all but I also seem to wait for a while in the front office and wait a little more once they call me back

Please don't be alarmed... not every doctor measures your belly until you are further along. My doctor always has me pee in a cup, listen to the heartbeat, and the usual ... checks my blood pressure and the dreaded weight gain... yuck. He usually asks about swelling in my ankles and how I am feeling in general. Does your doctor do any of this? I am a__suming he knows what he is doing (and i know that when you a__sume you tend to make an "a__s out of u and me" - that is how the saying goes right? LOL .... Does he ask you how you are feeling overall with this pregnancy? Is this your first? if so, I feel for you. You might be a little scared and not know what to expect but ask questions!!! If 10 minutes is not long enough keep him in the room and write down all the questions you want answers to prior to the visit. Like a checklist so that you know ahead of time what you get the information to rest easy and know that your baby is doing well. The 1st and 2nd trimesters visits are usually pretty quick .... it's the 3rd trimester (from my past experience) that they take more time with you because you are getting closer to delivery. I would suggest ask more questions. Your doctor is there to help you ... not the other way around.

I pee in a cup, get weighed, listen to heartbeat, and my ultra sound is booked for the 20 week mark.

I get weighed, pee in a cup, get blood pressure taken, listen to the heartbeat, and he's been measuring my belly since 14 weeks. it lets them know if your uterus is growing properly to make sure the baby is growing. I think you should express your concern, sometimes if they don't see the concern they figure you don't mind.

I get weighed, pee in a cup, get blood pressure taken, listen to the heartbeat, measure my belly and I have had an ultrasound every single time I go in for my regular checkups. It's only like a 2 or 3 minute u/s but its great to see my little bean every three weeks .. I guess I'm lucky.
