I am only 14 weeks, but i am constantly getting out of breath. I hear myself breathing heavier. anyone else feel like this. I am concerned b/c i feel it is too soon to feel like this?

I started having this very early too. It's actually gotten a little bit better for me (I'm 22 weeks now), although I hear once the baby gets bigger it'll press up on your chest and make it hard again. Maybe it just has something to do with hormones early on? I know that there is one hormone that relaxes all of your muscles, so it could be relaxing the diaphragm and just making it harder to contract to breath

yep, it is progesterone that does this too. I had this around the same time too and i hated the feeling....

I had this same feeling for a few weeks. After I went to the Dr. and was told that Citrucel was safe to take the feeling has gone away b/c I'm not constipated anymore.

I had this too right around 14 weeks- it is supposedly the increase of progesterone in thebeginning of the 2nd trimester that causes this. Mine went away about two weeks later and now I don't have it. Don't worry!!!!
