Sleepless In Texas

Hi, I am 14 weeks along. And for the past week, I CAN NOT SLEEP! My head hits the pillow @ 9:15, I am asleep by 9:16. But I am up at least 3-5 times a night, and most times, there is a 1-3 hour time frame that I cant get back to sleep. I am exhasuted when my alarm goes off at 6. I have to get my 8 yr old son off to school, and I start work @ 7:15. I cant nap when I get home, I have my 8 yr old to look after. My hubby works the afternoon shift... I am miserable! Is this happening to anyone else? Will it go away?

That happens to me though when I usually go to bed at night, I don't fall right to sleep but I have had some restless nights. I'm taking unisom with Vitamin B prescribed by my doc (but only because of m/s) and it seems to help just a little. I only get up to use the bathroom everything 1 1/2 and then I fall right to sleep. Hope this helped.

That sounds like me as well. I am 22 wks along and I am having the same problems. I was up last night from 2:30 to 4:30am hoping to fall back asleep before my alarm at 6. I am going to try to buy a workout dvd for pregnancy and maybe that will make me sleep through the night. Who knows? :)

I have the same problem. I am 13 weeks with twins and have had this problem since about 8 weeks. I am absolutely exhaused and want to sleep, takes an hour or so to fall asleep, then i'm up 3 times to pee. I am wide awake about 5:30 and can't sleep anymore for the life of me. I have tried unisom and it made no difference. It is so miserable.

Same thing was happening with me. I take Tylenol PM's occasionally to help get me to sleep and when I do take them, if I get up during the night I can usually fall back asleep quickly.

Ive been thinking about asking my doc. about a sleep aid, I have to be up at 5:30 and it's getting so frustrating to not be able to sleep! I'm just so uncomfortable, thank god it's only temporary!

Well, It has gotten a bit better. I am up about 2-3 times to pee, but thats it, and I am able to go back to sleep. KNOCK ON WOOD! I started keeping myself up till 10pm, and I think that has helped! I've had 4 days of decent sleep.
