Is anyone else sooooo tired? This past week has been horrible. I get plently of sleep, but have felt so physically tired lately. I'm tired just from walking up and down the stairs!! Anyone else feelilng this way? I am currenly 18 weeks, but I just haven't been able to shake this tiredness for the past couple of days. My legs are super tired too

I have been exhausted from the very beginning. When I entered my 2nd trimester I was looking for the spurt of energy everyone talks about but I haven't gotten it. It could have a lot to do with excercise. Do you walk or do any excercise? I cannot do any, mostly just sitting around, the most I get is getting up to pee and making supper. But that is by my doctors orders. All I want to do is sleep all day and all night. Alot of that is boredome as well. I am 19 weeks.

Hi, Thanks for your response. Yeah, I haven't gotten that burst of energy either. I was really waiting for it. Oh well. I am actually feeling a little better. My body was just so tired earlier this week, but I think I was starting to get a cold that never really "hit" me all the way. I don't exercise much, although I told myself I would. By the time I get home and make dinner and all the food stuff, it's close to 7:00 so I am pooped! I work for a busy executive so I figure I get enough exercise running around at work like a chicken with my head cut off!! he he!!

I thought I was doing so great because I wasn't that tired the first trimester like everyone complains of being. My second trimester, I am a ton more tired than the first. I'm tired all the time. I guess I'm backwards.

I have been tired the whole time! It is a lot of work growing a baby. I work full-time, and have another child, so not too much time to rest, but believe me whenever I have a chance, I take it!

I also never got that spurt of energy. I am so exhausted constantly. I don't remember feeling this tired with my other pregnancies. I think that is part of why I am so exhausted because I am working and raising a 4 and 5 year old. I am 18 weeks.

I know we all have very busy lives. I work fulltime and I go to school fulltime. I leave the house at 7:00am and i get home at 8:00pm. i have something to eat for "dinner" and by 8:45pm I'm struggling to stay awake. BUT, I make myself get on my treadmill for 30 minutes everyday. Regardless. I look at that 30 minutes as "me time". I am doing something that is good for my physical, emotional and mental health. Heart disease is the No 1 killer of women in the United States. Not b___st cancer, not ovarian cancer......heart disease. And the No 1 cause of heart disease in women is stress. We have to be mindful of how fragile our bodies are, especially when we are pregnant and make a committment to improve our health. Now, if you're under doctors orders to not exercise....that's one thing. But the old "i'm too tired, i don't have the energy" excuse doesn't cut it. Can you at least commit to 30 min a day three times a week??? YES YOU CAN!! You go girl!!
