Still Sick At 24 Weeks

Ok, I am still getting really sick at night (from about dinner through the middle of the night) with my "morning" sickness. Granted, it has diminished (used to be all day up until about 14 weeks), but what is up? Anyone else??

Am I really the only one : (

No you're not the only one. I'm unable to keep anything down (including water or ice) unless I take a ton of medicine that I've been given by the docs, and I'm 21 weeks. It just happens to some people.. if it's really bad, it's called hyperemesis gravidarum (which is what I have) and there are treatments available but you just have to ask your doctor about them. I hope you start to feel better soon!

Erin, sorry about your situation. Mine is not that bad, though I have a friend how had h. gravidarum. I will ask my doctor at my next appt if she thinks medicine is warranted in my case. Thanx!

Hi Suzette, You're not alone. I'm 17 weeks and I still get awful nausea (no vomitting). Most food and food smells gross me out. I wonder if I will ever get to be myself again (I usually really like good food)... I know this doesn't help but know that you are not alone. Best of luck.

Hi Juliette, sorry you have it too! But I have been feeling like the only one, all the pregnant women I know, and have known, say they feel better by the second trimester. Guess we just need to hang in there . . .
