Tail Bone Pain

Ok, so I am not sure if this is related to my pregnancy at all, but thought I would ask. 2 days ago, I noticed when I sit down, my tailbone hurts. I haven't done anything out of the ordinary. Has anyone else had anything like this?? (I am a little over 20 weeks with twins) Thanks!

Its only when I sit down that it hurts.. It almost feels like I banged it on something, but I know I haven't .. it's so weird.. I never thought I might be the siatic (sp?) nerve, but I guess I should ask my dr..

Yes, this happens to me too and i am only 15 weeks. It feels like a chiropractor needs to pop my lower back too. Glad to hear someone else has that too!

There are so many nerves that the baby can rest on. I just went to the hospital 2 weeks ago thinking I was in labor. I had a tightening of my stomach but it was more in my side. They said I wasn't having contractions but the baby was laying on a nerve on my side. The most popular nerve is the siatic (?) nerve. I would def. ask your doctor but I can almost guarantee that's what they will determine. Good luck ladies. Hope all is well.

I have the same thing and not only when sitting but walking too. I also was thinking it's a sciatic nerve because I had a pain for few days in my left hip and left arm
