On the box it says take 2 every 6 hours, I am pregnant, should I take two or 1 of 500 mg.

Hi my dr told me that I could take regular plain tylenol, not extra strength or anything. I would check with your dr before taking anything.

My doc told me extra strength is A-OK and you can take it just as the box says. Maybe take one first and see if that helps, and if not try two?

Celia - November 26

My Dr. also said regular strength only.

My doc said I could take extra strength as long as I followed the recommended directions on the box. I think as long as you are taking them only occasionally it should be fine.

My sister in law is a nurse and she says 2 extra stength is fine

Go with what your doc says, but mine told me only one extra strength - said don't want to go over 700 mg often... (the new 8 hour tylenol is 650 for one - might want to try that) works for me. Unlike sudafed - bad bad head and chest cold Sudafed ain't touching...

i havent had a reason to take any tylenol yet, im 16 weeks. I havent even talked to my doc about it. However, my aunt is also pregnant and her doc told her that it is ok to take extra strength, but only take one. Taking 2 normal strength is like taking one extra strength!!!
