I go tomorrow to hear my baby's heartbeat for the first time. I haven't had an ultrasound since I was 6weeks and I am now 14. I am trying to think positively but I am so scared that something will be wrong. I know as soon as I hear the heartbeat I am going to be in awe.

I am in the same situation - I had an u/s at 7 wks and heard/saw the hb and I go again tonmorrow - 10wks+ and i am so nervous that I might not hear anything this time. But you're right -when we DO hear it again tomorrow it will be such a great moment! I've had 2 prev m/c, so this will be as far as I've ever gotten if everything is okay! Fingers crossed - good luck to you!

i first got to hear my babys heart beat in the hospital, i had been in the hospital for 5 days ( i had savere nausea, was dehigrated and my heart rate was way up) i was really worried about my baby so my doctor sent another doctor from his group and she had a doppler with her, she let me hear the heartbeat. I was so relieved

Heard the heartbeat @ 10 weeks, my doc said that we may not, but we did. My hubby and I both got really choked up, I am actually a little misty-eyed typing this. It is awesome, make things much more real. Next wk. I have an u/s and to see our baby will be crazy.

Yay!!! I just got home from hearing the heartbeat... I was so worried because it took her a minute to find it. Once she did, though, it was the sweetest sound I've ever heard. It's in the 150's, which she said could be a girl or a boy.

Aww....I'm happy for you! I know that the first time I heard my little one's heart beat...I started crying lol. I get my ultrasound next Thursday which is exciting (time isn't going by fast enough). Anyway, glad everything is okay for you!
