Hey Hannah, I will be 24 tommorrow. I also have a duaghter who will be 3 in June. I found out two weeks ago that I am having another girl. My daughter is sooo excited about that. She really wanted a sister to be her "best friend" she said. Unfortunately I do not get to stay at home. I work as a financial a___lyst in Washington D.C. My fiance doesn't make enough money by himself to allow me the luxury of being at home with my girls. I am 19 weeks and due Sept 1st. I was pretty lucky because I never had morning sickness with either pregnancy. I did have a horrible scare with the stupid AFP test though. It came back positive for Trisomy 18 and then I had to have an amnio, all just to find out that everything was fine to begin with. So Mandy, you have two girls already, can I a__sume you are hoping for a boy this time around? What about you Hannah, any prefernce in the s_x? I wasn't able to access you pictures Mandy, it told me access denied. I am working on a piczo site so when I get it completed I will share with you all. Take Care.

Mandy, your daughters are beautiful. Your oldest reminds me of my daughter. She is always dressing up in princess outfits. She has like 12 of them. She's such a girly girl, loves for me to paint her nails, shop for shoes and purses, wearing pretend makeup, dressing up and playing with dolls. This caught me off gaurd because I myself was never a girly girl. Thanks for shraing your pictures.

Hi Hannah (and everyone!)- My name is Susan, I'm 28, and due October 1st. I'm 14w4d along (yay!!!) and can feel a bump!!! Some days I get really scared of having a baby, but then other days I am so stoked and excited :) Hormones are such fun.... Anyways, we've had two m/c's in the past, both in the first trimester, and so we're getting excited about this one!

Mandy1984 - April 6

HEY eRIN, Chrissythefairy & SuzieQ Congrats on all your pregnancies, SuzieQ I think we have chatted on previous threads, I too had a m/carriage when I was 18weeks along with my third, So this is my 4th pregnancy, By the looks of it we will be all having our babies around the same time :) I'm due 9th oct but I am sceluduled for a c/section at 37wks so should have my baby by end Sept YEA

Erin333 - April 6

Suzie, glad to see you've finally made it to the second trimester. It's a lot more fun the the first. Mandy, you had a mc at 18 weeks, I had no idea that they happened so far along. Did they tell you why it happened? I thought being at 19 weeks I was safe, but I guess not.

I was bleeding from the very start of the pregnancy on and off, I never felt right and deep down I think I knew I was going to m/carry but when I reached 12 weeks I began to think I was wrong then 13, then 14 and so on.. 1 week before i m.c'ed I attended the hospital as the bleeding became really heavy, I had a scan and baby was fine so I went home and the bleeding eased over the next few days, On the 31st May 05 I collected Shannon from pre-school as usual, felt fine no bleeding no pains ect...I called into my grans house after and didn't get home til around 2.30pm, Within 5 mins these awful pains started in my stomach, I put shannon into the lounge to watch TV and put bethany to bed, I crawled into the bath and suddenly had an urge to push, I pa__sed 2 ma__sive big blood clots, I didn't really look as I thought that was the baby, I grabbed a towel and ran downstairs waiting for Andrew to come home (partner). As soon as we got home he drove me to the A&E (ER) and I was given a large shot of morphine for the pain, It was about an hour later I had a scan and to my surprise baby was fine...The doctor told me I had a fibroid at the neck of my womb and I was NOT m/carrying, She wanted to send me home but I refused so they kept me in overnight, By 3am I was screaming in agony, the nurses came into my room and were really p__sed with me saying ''many women come in with this complaint and don't get on like this, its really not that painful'' They closed my room door tight so they couldn't hear me cry. At around 9am I crawled to the toilet again only this time there was a loud thud, my baby had came out and was in the bedpan, The noise he was making was unforgetable, like gasping and his whole body was shaking, The nurses came running after I hit the alarm and took him away, He was brought back a little later and wasn't prenounced dead until nearly 2hrs later...He was cremated 10 days later, I still have his ashes, It crushed me at the time but it really does get easier, I am guessing God had bigger plans for him..I hope so..Its the only thing I can cling on to, Anyways sorry for rambling,,,,didn't realize how much I had wrote :)

Mandy1984 - April 6

oh yea, after I delivered him I had to have a D&C because I was still in pain and was told it was because the afterbirth couldn't get past the fibroid, Turns out there was NO fibroide there at all?? Doctors got it sooo wrong, Never got an answer except babys' thigh bone was abnormally small which can indicate a form of dwarfism but no reason for actually m/carrying

Mandy, I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't believe what an awful exerience that must have been. Those nurses and doctors were real a__s&*^$'s. I'm glad to see that you were able to heal and keep your spirits up high. I wish you the absolute best this time around, you really deserve it. Take Care.

HannahBaby - April 6

Hey ladies!! Thanks for making me feel welcome!!

SuzieQ - April 7

I'm so glad we have all made it into the second trimester! I think we've all probably posted on the first trimester forum, but it's kinda neat to graduate to this one :) silly, I know! Mandy, I'm so sorry about your last pregnancy. I truly hope this one goes better for you, and that you have way better doctors!

Mandy1984 - April 7

hey thanks you guys, its nice (but sad) to know that I am not the only one in the world to go through this...People always said it must be hard having a m/carriage so late but in all honesty i think it was easier than if I had of m/carried at 6/7/8weeks... I feel lucky that I got to see my baby and that I have pictures of him to remind me...I think it would have been much harder and would have taken me longer to get over it if I had of had the m/carriage later on, I know it sounds silly but I was comforted by the fact I got to hold him, kiss him and say goodbye in person, Anyways, This pregnancy has been a mixture of emotions, happy, sad, anxious, guilt...But I feel this site has really helped as what I feel seems to be normal as there is lots of other women in the same boat, It does feel like an accomplishment to reach the 2nd trimester, Anyways congrats again to all and to HANNAHBABY*** Welcome to the 2nd trimester...TODAY ITS OFFICAL YEA!!!
