Travel During Second Trimester

Am looking for some help/tips. DH & I have decided to take one last trip before the baby arrives and what better time than 2nd trimester! I'll be flying to Orlando, FL(warmer weather!) early march, that will put me in my 24th week. Has anyone travelled in/around that timeframe. If so, tips/things I shouldn't forget to carry etc will be very helpful. Also, I would have loved to take all the rides, but since I can't now, any recommendations on things to do (in my current state) would be helpful as well. Thanks Ladies!

During your flight make sure that you drink lotsa water and be sure to walk around to stretch your legs so they don't get crampy. You should also bring some snacks for the plane ride (not sure how long your flight is). Maybe for a day or so, you guys could drive over to Tampa which is about 3 hours from Orlando and have a day at the beach...Other than that, do some swimming at the hotel eat lots of great food and enjoy yourself!

Thanks Steph! The plane ride is about 2hrs, stop over for an hr, and then 1 1/2 hr after. Although it doesn't seem that long at first, am afraid it might be with my growing tummy! We have some friends in tampa, visiting them might be a good idea!! Thanks again!

You're lucky you're flying! I am driving to Orlando mid March from Ontario, Canada. 24 hours in the car...great. I will be 23 weeks. We plan to shop and hang out in the pool (we rented a house that has a private pool). Also, we are going to go out to some dinner theatres. There is "Sleuths Mystery Dinner Theatre" and "Capone's" that you can check out online. Prices include dinner and unlimited drinks (not that you can drink...but at least dh will enjoy that!) If I can think of anything else I will let you know.

Oh, I forgot, there is also "Orlando Improv" at Church Street Station. You can go to www.churchstreetevents.com and click on About, then Orlando Improv to see the schedule of what will be going on there when you are there. Also, in Kissimme there is "Old Town" on the 192 Highway, which is a neat little place that has bars, shops, and attractions. It is worth checking out.
