What kind of stretches can you do to lessen or prevent the pain of child birth?

I have heard that Squatting helps open the pelvis and helps with labor pain. I don't know my first labor I was forced to stay in bed because my blood pressure was to high.

Another is sit on the floor and pbend ur knees and put the bottoms of two of ur feet together and hold on to them and slowly bring ur heels toward ur pelvis...That helps alot..i did that everwhere i sat even on the couch watchin tv or at work ,,,anywhere ur sittin just bring ur heels in and grab em'...lol sound funny but it works

midwives say that 10 to 20 squats a day during pregnancy helps widen your pelvis area and will prepare you for actual delivery. other natural pain relieve are squatting in water (preferably birthing pool, but bath tub works fine too), red raspberry leaf tea (lots and lots and lots of it during pregnancy and labor), moaning, singing, dancing whatever you feel helps you... wishing you well, estee
