I describe my heartburn as pain maybe even burning coming up my throat and trying to get out mouth. I hope that helped you.

When I have heartburn, it feels like really bad chest pains! Like I'm going to have a heart attack or something! I was really worried about it so I had it all checked out...turned out that it IS just heartburn.

your probably having heartburn, mine goes up my throat from the stomach and into my mouth , I notice my heart rate goes up during this too, I can almost feel it hitting my chest and beating so fast.

Heartburn feels like acid throughout your esophagus. All these organs: stomach, esophagus, lungs, heart... are so close together that it can be confusing to tell. In fact, heartburn is actually stomach-burn, but it's call heartburn for that very reason. If you have a Tums or drink some milk & the pain settles down somewhat, it's most likely heartburn.
