Call your doc and ask... you don't want to take any chances b/c the differences in your blood type can be fatal to your baby. I heard this is more of a factor with the 2nd baby. My dh's mom has that blood type and since they were in a foreign country and since it was 30 years ago I guess they didn't test for that. Well... his mom was b___stfeeding his sister and she got so sick she almost died and it was b/c of their blood types. I wouldn't take any chances. It doesn't sound like a big deal but it's only a phone call to the doc to confirm. Or just ask at your next appt if its b4 your 28 weeks.

Things should be just fine to wait till 30 weeks. With my son I had the shot at 28 weeks but this time I won't be getting it until week 30 just because that's when my next appointment fell. My Dr reminded me that I'd be getting it at that visit and didn't seem to have any concerns about it.

My doc scheduled me to have this rhogam shot too at 26 weeks and I was a bit concerned myself. My appointment is August 14th. HunnieBunch I would get your doctor's advise on this. They would know if it's too late or not. Good luck.
