I think someone has said that zicam is safe during pregnancy (as stated by their doctor) but wanted to see if anyone can confirm that they asked their doctors about it. My son and hubby are sick and I am wanting to do what I can not to get it... thanks!

You know what i have actually heard that zicam can cause loss of smell and taste. I didn't believe it at first, i work at a middle school and there was this e mial going around about this woman who lost her smell and could'ne taste anything after using the product. I put zicam in on goggle and it pulled up all thses recalls on it and lawsuits about people loosing their taste and not being able to smell anymore after using it. I even think it says on the bottle something about temp. loos of taste and smell, kinda creepy! But you have probably used it before and nothing has happened, i just thought it would be interesting for you to know. If you want you can goggle zicam and it will bring up a bunch of horror stories, I don't know seems weird to me. Hope all goes well!!!!!!

Thanks. I did hear the same thing but because people squirted it up their nose.. We put it on the tip of a q-tip and rub it on the very inside of the nose. From what I read it was caused by the force of putting that up in your nose and squirting it. Still on the fence about using it.
