i'm 18 years old and my husband and i just got married 6 months ago. i want to get pregnant before my husband gets deployed to iraq. but we've been trying for three months now and i'm still not pregnant. one of my friends told me that i should keep my legs up for about 30 minutes after intercourse so none of the semen would come out of my va___a. i've been following her advise but it seems that everytime i stand up or even move a litte bit after intercouse, a lot of semen comes out of my va___a. is that normal?

you body only needs a couple swimmers, not all the goo it came in. Your body isnt going to absorb it so It has to go somewhere, and when you stand gravity takes over

I've always been the same way. I could even go to bed and wake up in the morning and drip when I got up. How long is your husband going to be gone for? Being pregnant and alone can be a real pain in the b___t. Getting through deployments is a very difficult time and you will be more emotional. Just a warning from someone who's been there :) Ovulation predictor tests can be a BIG help. If you don't want to use them, try and count back 14 days from when your period is supposed to start (if you have a pretty consistant cycle) and have s_x the days before and following that. You can prop your hips up on a pillow to give the little guys a bit of a downward angle. Some sperm can reach the egg in as little as a half hour, but most take about 2 hours. Maybe you could just lay there for a while and watch tv? Good luck!
