My BF Is Paranoid

My BF is terrified of getting me pregnant. He doesn't trust the pill, or condoms or anything even though he is well educated in safe s_x. How do I calm him down?

I would respect his feelings and fears...besides, the safest s_x is NO s_x. If you don't have s_x, then you won't have to be on this forum paranoid about if you are pregnant or not. I think you should support his decision...you do not want to force someone into doing something that they are uncomfortable with and could possibly regret.

Thats fair. I just find it odd. Because at the end of the day, it affects me a lot more than it affects him. And I'm not scared. I take precausions and can handle the responsibilty of the risk. Oh well.

I understand completely what you are saying...I just understand what it is like to be on the other end as well. I always told myself that I would wait to have s_x till I was married. My bf and I have been together for five years and have been having s_x for about 2 years. Every time before I had my period I would freak out that I was pregnant and so I told my bf that I would like to refrain from having intercourse b/c I just end up getting stressed out. That obviously didn't last for long b/c when I gave in and wanted to have intercourse, he wasn't there to support my past decision instead he would consent...well, now I haven't had my period in almost two months. Sometimes my periods are irregular, but I know that had my bf supported my decision and been more committed to my wish to be abstinent, my missed period would not stress me out as much as it is.

And we use male condoms and they have never broke or came off durring intercourse.
