tanning beds.......safe while pregnant.....how about sunless tanning lotions......???

Sunless tanning lotions? Yes...I use them, and they help to "hide" the extra dimples i've been experiencing. I have the aerosol tanning spray from Sally Hansen, and although it works, the fumes probably aren't good to breath in so I have cut it down to a minimum. But the Banana Boat sunnless tanning lotion works awesome. Nothing orange about it, just read the directions. As far a tanning beds...I knew a girl who just had a baby, and she said she was going maybe once a month, just to keep her color. Her baby was ok, but I would never do that. The UV rays penetrate so deeply that the baby might very well be harmed. too risky. Since it's summer time though, find time to lay out and swim. I heard getting a natural sun tan will look great especially after you have the baby.

UV Rays do not reach your baby that is a myth, You can use a tanning bed as long as you keep cool and drink water

Some states have made laws to prevent women who ar pregnant to use tanning beds. It is no myth. Just not enough research to completely say it is true, of course it would be unethical to risk a fetus' health. Try to stay out of the fake and bake beds.
