A UTI should not affect the results of a pregnancy test. The only thing that can infect the results that I am aware of is an ovarian cyst or if you are on a drug that contains the hormone HCG (which very few drugs do). Both the cycst and a drug w. HCG could possibly cause you to get a false positive. Overall though chances are slim that a person would have a positive due to one of these two things. As far as the UTI --no it wont affect it. Good luck

I've never heard of the "goosebumps" on the areola being an early sign. The b___sts do change, and the areola does darken, and glands that produce a kind of "moisturizing" effect do get larger and such. However, I've never heard of that as an early sign of pregnancy. The darkening and gland changes I don't think normally occur until a while into a pregnancy. That doesn't mean that what you're describing isn't a sign, but it's not one I know of or have heard others mention. You could post and ask about it on the general pregnancy forum and on the 1st trimester forum as some of those girls might know.
