my books say that doggy style is safe, also on your side, or on your back with your legs on his shoulders. the most important thing is that you don't put pressure on your belly.

I think most are safe, as long as they are not uncomfortable. Thats what my doc said. She told me to use my judgement, and If it didnt feel like it was too much pressure, it was probly ok.

I'm 28 weeks, and with him on top it got uncomfortable at about 22 weeks . . . I missed it, though (me on top constantly gets boring, we can't figure out the sideways position) so we discovered that two pillows under my hips for some reason moves my belly out of the way and it works. I am very happy now! ;) I'm not limber enough to put my legs on his shoulders but I can lock them over his back and they don't get tingly from lack of circulation. At 28 weeks it's getting tricky. Enjoy the early trimesters!!! :)

I think most of them are ok. I am 22 weeks pregnangt and starting to get uncomfortable. the missionary position puts too mush pressure on my tummy.
