Hi ladies, I have a luteal phase of 10 days according to my last cycle on Fertility Friend, the first time I'd charted for a full cycle. Is this normal/ OK? Has anyone had a luteal phase of 10 days and resulted in a successful pregnancy? Grandpa Viv, any thoughts on this if you're on the forum checking in on us?

Hi there! I am not a pro in luteal phases but I have heard according to webmd having a 10 day luteal phase is considered short to sustain pregnancy ...but who really knows if it works for you?? Good Luck

Hey, I had a 10 day luteal phase back in January... I showed my doctor my charts earlier this month and pointed that out to her and she told me she would be concerned it if occcurre every month like that. But my luteal phase seems to be 13-14 days now...for one time it occurred at 10 days...so it may be a fluke for you this time want2beamummy....chart again and see if it happens again...if it does, call your doc, you may need a jump start or minor tweaking to your hormones.

Thanks for your reply girls. I'll keep an eye on it this month then and hopefully my luteal phase will be longer this month. I feel like af is coming now, I'm 8dpo and have had bad cramps this evening. I'd be very surprised and worried if I ended up having an even shorter LP this month. I'll wait and see what happens tomorrow ith my temps. Thanks, I'll speak to the doc if it reoccurs.
