6 Week Periods

If your period is normally 6 weeks in duration, does this mean you do not ovulate? Will I have a hard time conceiving? I think it has been 6 weeks the past few months due to stress, so hopefully I will go back to having shorter periods. I am 29 if that helps and get my period for 4 days in duration. Also, can it be possible to have ovulation bleeding? I think I ovulated, but there was a slight pinkish color when I wiped. It was the only time it was pink. Any suggestions? Thanks-

I do not know much about ovulation bleeding but I do know that it is possible to ovulate twice each month...maybe that is the reason it is 6 weeks in duration....

It does not mean you don't ovulate. It does suggest you may ovulate later then most women. Rather then 14 days after the first day of your period, you would ovulate around day 21. Yes, some women can bleed at ovulation. It is like you described light pink or brown and very light. I would buy some ovulation predictors and start testing around day 19, just to make sure that you are ovulating. Sometimes this is a hormone problem and you may not ovulate.
