6dpo What Is Going On

I am 6 dpo (ovulated CD 22). This is my first round of clomid. I had irregular cycles prior so I have no idea how long this cycle will be. Anyhow, the last four days I have had a lot of cm - and I thought after you o'd tha your cm dried up. If anything mine is getting worse. I also thought that being on clomid would dry up as well. Today I have a headache and overall just don't feel myself. Is it too early to tell if I could possible be preg.? Any input would be greatly appreciated...

Hi Claudia! I am on clomid too! I did have dryer cm, though until ovlation day, then there was gobs of ewcm! It was mostly gone by the next day, though, so I don't know what is up with yours. Are you on any other meds that could be doing this??

None, just clomid days 5-9. It makes me wonder what is going on too. I have had some cramping (very mild) too. I would think being 6 dpo it would be too soon to tell if these are preg. signs....

Implantation occurs at about 6-10 dpo, so maybe you are having implantation today! It is definatly too early to find out, though. The soonest you can find out is 10dpo with a very sensitive test (and even then you're likely to get a false negative). It's best to wait until 14 dpo (when af is due if on a 28 day cycle). hCG doesn't even begin to produce with the pregnancy until implantation occurs, and then it takes awhile for it to build up and make it to your urine to give you a BFP on a hpt. best to you!

Oh, I just noticied you said you ovulated on cd 22. Are you sure? That seems late. By the way, you can almost always count on af 14 days AFTER ovulation (that is if you aren't pregnant). The leuteal phase (from ovulation to start of menstration) should be 14 days long. People are mis-understanding when they say ovulation comes 14 after the first day of bleeding. This first half of the cycle can vary (some have textbood 14 days before and after ovulation, but not all do.) If would seem that the first part of your cycles, before ovulation, are longer than the "textbook" 14 days. However, take note of how long after ovulation, you get af. It is likely 14 days.

Thanks Mica! I am almost positive it is CD 22 that I ovulated because I am charting and my temps rise the next day. I charted it on fertility friend and that is the day that they have me down as o'ing too. I am keeping my fingers crossed!!! 14 days would put me at the 24th.... However like you said mine will probably be a little longer.

Ok ladies - today is 7dpo..... My temps yesterday and today were 97.9 which is the same as my coverline. Could this mean something?? Fertility friends counts these as above coverline but I am concerned that for two days in a row they are a little lower. I have heard that you temps can drop a little and then spike when you are pregnant in the luteal phase - has anyone had this happen?
